Traveling From Outside the Area
If your appointment requires that you travel a long distance, it is also recommended that you be prepared to spend the night in town after the tumor clinic visit. Some cases require additional testing or evaluations which we may prefer be done locally. This could include CT or MRI scans, outpatient biopsies or examinations under anesthesia, preoperative medical clearance evaluation by a hospital based internist, etc.
If you plan ahead and pack an overnight bag, we might be able to get this testing done the following day, which could save you another trip back to the Indianapolis area.
